On 24th June 2026, the university welcomed a team from the Public Health Officers and Technicians Council – Kenya (PHOTC-K) for an accreditation inspection visit.

The team assessed the university's readiness to offer the Diploma in Public Health, reviewing facilities, resources, and academic standards in line with council requirements.
